Senior Director Publisher Team

Job Summary:

The Director, Publisher Team will lead the team whose primary goal is to manage and acquire new media partners for Transparent.ly’s ad serving technology, including identifying prospects, engaging decision makers, and closing contracts. Transparent.ly is a real-time click bidding platform that allows advertisers to precisely bid for consumers with our ad technology. Our platform allows our online media partners to monetize their consumer traffic in insurance, mortgage, and higher education by showing highly relevant ads to in market consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and guide team of account managers and business development professionals.
  • Use creativity and competitive intelligence resources to identify potential media partners.
  • Project manage onboarding of media partners, including technical, billing and pricing issues.
  • Lead team to manage relationships with media partners to ensure successful long-term relationships from both Transparent.ly’s and media partner’s perspective.
  • Develop processes, tracking and reporting to support the role and maximize team performance.
  • Be able to grow and manage a high performing business development team

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. May also have advanced degree
  • 7+ years of successful business development or account management experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of quickly developing professional relationships over the phone

  • Provide leadership in organizing the publisher business development practice, including developing cross functional processes

Desired Skills:

  • Successful experience managing and growing a team
  • Track record of hiring and developing team members
  • Experience in the insurance industry and/or online marketing highly preferred

Compensation offered for this role is $119,700.00-$182,025.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
